This ambitious residential renovation in South London involved the complete transformation of a long-abandoned home that had remained boarded up for over thirty years. The building’s derelict condition presented both challenges and opportunities – allowing us to reimagine the interior with a bold architectural approach. The design introduces unexpected apertures, layered volumes, and carefully curated light to bring depth and character to each space. What emerged is a one-of-a-kind home: rich in texture, full of natural light, and shaped by a sense of discovery that honours the building’s layered past while embracing modern living.
