Located on the buzzy Old Street roundabout, Trade Old Street is the third restaurant we’ve designed for our award-winning client. We inherited a challenging shell-and-core space with two entrances and an awkward footprint, requiring a carefully considered layout to balance customer comfort with an optimised kitchen and back-of-house design. A warm, natural material palette of copper, timber, and steel is softened with planting, subtle lighting, and generous shopfront glazing that floods the interior with natural light. The exposed services and excellent ceiling height create an open, airy atmosphere – a calm retreat within one of London’s busiest locations.
