The second venue for the growing Trade brand, this project involved converting a neglected, derelict restaurant on Essex Road into a warm, characterful destination. Located in a predominantly residential area, the design needed to feel more intimate and inviting while still carrying the raw material language that defined the brand. The established palette of copper, brick, concrete, and timber was refined and elevated here, creating a petite yet welcoming interior that felt both local and quietly confident. The result is a compact yet atmospheric space that seamlessly blends restraint with richness.
