New Commission: A Rooftop Garden in the Sky – Notting Hill

We’ve just been appointed to work on a truly one-of-a-kind residence in Notting Hill — a tall, five-storey home with an extraordinary surprise: instead of a conventional garden, the property features a full-scale rooftop sanctuary, elevated above the city.

Spanning the entire roof plate, the garden will become the heart of the home — a place not just for planting, but for gathering, pausing, and living. Our task is to shape the house around this unique feature, connecting interior and exterior across all five levels, and allowing the architecture to breathe upwards.

The brief is as bold as the house itself, and our early conversations with the client have already revealed a shared language and vision. It’s rare to find a home with such vertical drama and potential — we can’t wait to bring it to life.
